Zarantyr is the closest of Eberron's twelve moons. It is the primary moon that influences Eberron's tides.[1]
Description[]
From Eberron, Zarantyr appears pearly white in coloration.[1]
Culture[]
The first month of the year in the Galifar Calendar is named after Zarantyr.[2][3]
The shifter moonspeaker druids associate Zarantyr with silver metal,[4] whereas shifter monks who follow the Way of the Shackled Beast associate white opals with the moon.[5]
Rumors & Legends[]
Tradition links the moon of Zarantyr with the Mark of Storm.[1][2][3] There is a popular superstition that there is a greater chance of being struck by lightning when Zarantyr is full, even when there are no clouds in the sky.[1]
There is a legend that one can travel to Zarantyr by finding a structure in Xen'drik known as the Siberys Staircase.[6]
