The Lost Mark is a trilogy of novels written by Matt Forbeck set in the Eberron setting and published by Wizards of the Coast. The trilogy focuses on the thirteenth dragonmark, the Mark of Death; its protagonist, a Brelish fighter named Kandler; and his adopted elf daughter Esprë.
The first installment, Marked for Death, was released March 1, 2005; the second, The Road to Death, released January 10, 2006; and the third, The Queen of Death, on October 10, 2006. All three novels have had audio book releases and are illustrated by Adam Rex. The world lore corresponds to the 3.5 edition of Eberron and all events are considered non-canon. There was also a prequel to the trilogy titled "Coming Home", which was published in 2005 in Dragon magazine #330.
