This article is about the trilogy by Keith Baker. For the shadowy organization on Riedra, see Dreaming Dark.

The Dreaming Dark trilogy is Eberron creator Keith Baker's first published novels in the setting. It follows the journeys of the Cyran soldier Daine, artificer and dragonmarked heir Lei d'Cannith, the warforged Pierce, and the halfling healer Jode from their time in the Last War to the Breland city of Sharn, the continent of Xen'drik, and even the outer planes.

While having some links to the later books. The City of Towers is in many ways independent of the second two books as Keith Baker always saw it like a pilot to a series. Books 2 and 3 serve a tight continuity and work as a two part story.
