Behind the Scenes[]
In 3.5 edition, Terran was the language of the earth elementals, using Dwarven script.[1] However, with the consolidation of languages in 4th edition, elementals instead spoke Primordial, using the Barazhad script.[2] In 5th edition, Terran is considered a dialect of Primordial, using the Primordial script in Eberron.[3][4]
