The Sovereign Book of Seasons, also known as the Sovereign calendar, is a religious calendar used by the Vassals of the Sovereign Host that predates the secular calendar of Galifar.[1]
The calendar has three seasons instead of four: Yearbirth, which is associated with Siberys and roughly corresponds to spring and summer; Yeargrowth, which is associated with Eberron and roughly corresponds to summer and autumn; and Yeardeath, which is associated with Khyber and roughly corresponds to autumn and winter.[1]
The seasons are divided into seven 16-day weeks. Each day of the week commemorates a god of the Sovereign Host, although after the Schism the Dark Six are no longer commemorated (instead the Five Kingdoms and Galifar are commemorated.)[1]
