While the majority of the Bloodsail families dwell in the island's interior or on the Fingerbone Mountains, Prince Tasil claims Port Cairn as her seat.[4]

History[]
Prince Tasil has ruled the Bloodsails for over a century, making it one of the most stable principalities. Under her leadership, the Bloodsails served as privateers for Karrnath in the Last War. However, after the dissolution of the Emerald Claw, the Bloodsails have turned to piracy against Karrnath. Recently Prince Tasil allied with the Principality of the Diresharks.[1]
Rumors & Legends[]
Prince Taesil is rumored to be a puppet for undead masters, a faction known as the Grim.[5]
Legend says that Prince Shaen Taesil's predecessor, Prince Moren, was cursed to sail the Bitter Sea in a ship of bones.[1]

Notes[]
- ↑ The canon on how closely the elves of Farlnen follow the Blood of Vol has changed across editions. In 3.5e, Farlnen is described as a center for the worship of the Blood of Vol and all the Bloodsails are of that faith.
