King Sebastes ir'Kesslan is the ruler of New Galifar in the region of Q'barra from his seat at Newthrone.[3] He is the grandson of New Galifar's founder, Ven ir'Kesslan.[4]
Personality[]
Sebastes is considered to be a just ruler who cares about improving the lives of his subjects.[5]
Activities[]
Sebastes seeks to protect his people from conflict by making diplomatic agreements with his neighbors. He is working on making agreements with the Lhazaar princes to prevent pirate raids, and also negotiating for peace with the Valenar.[4][5]
He is concerned by the actions of the dragonborn leader Mishva Garodya Stormhorn, as she may pose a threat to his kingdom.[6]
Relationships[]
Sebastes's sister Alzia ir'Kesslan is his first minister and he delegates identifying threats to New Galifar to her.[2]
Under Sebastes reign, New Galifar has entered into a number of trade agreements with the Unity of Riedra, and Riedra has provided a small number of troops to New Galifar as part of those agreements.[4]
History[]
King Sebastes represented the region of Q'barra at the Treaty of Thronehold in 996 YK, alongside a dragonborn delegation, and achieved recognition for the region as part of the treaty.[5]
