Roach thralls are intelligent human-sized cockroaches that use human hosts for disguises and reproduction.[1]
Description[]
Roach thralls in human form appear to be their human host.[1]
In roach form, roach thralls resemble human-sized cockroaches with six limbs, antennae, and a dark brown carapace.[1]
Life Cycle[]
Roach thralls are born from eggs incubated inside a human body. Upon hatching, the roach then kills its host from the inside by consuming the host's brain and internal organs and takes over the human's remains to use as a disguise to pass as an ordinary human. It attempts to blend into society for up to two years before looking for new humans in which to implant eggs in order to continue the cycle. Only roach thralls in human form can reproduce, as a roach who has emerged from its human host can't return to it.[1]
Combat[]
Roach thralls in a human host try to avoid combat, but if necessary will shed their human form to use their sharp claws to kill opponents.[1]
Society[]
Roach thralls feed on garbage. They use their antenna to communicate with other roaches.[1]
