Omnimentals are the progeny of magically developed elemental beings, designed to act as intermediaries between the warring factions of primordial nature. But it was not to be, for they proved more capable as devastating warriors, shimmering with fire, electricity, water, and whirling air.[1]
Abilities[]
As coruscating beings of pure elemental force, they lack the limitations of any singular element, being able to enter water despite their flame aspect or fly through the air despite their earth aspect. In these moments of intermingling natures, the omnimental formulates and develops layers of protection that safeguard otherwise vulnerable parts of its body, such as the fire as they dive beneath the waves.[1]
However, these mighty elementals also lack the more specialized forms of attack their progenitors are capable of, sacrificing specialization for versatility. They can detach from themselves clods of flaming earth called elemental balls at their enemies, and upon death, they divide into huge examples of each of the classical four elementals.[1]
History[]
To this day, attempts by the gnomes of Zilargo to capture and bind omnimentals have failed, with uniformly disastrous results. Rumors abound that the drow of Xen'drik know the means to bind these powerful beings, but attempts at replicating these methods have proven calamitous for all involved.[1]
