Olarune is one of the twelve moons orbiting Eberron. The moon is associated with community and order.[1] Lycanthropes also revere Olarune, seeing the moon as their protector.[1][2]
Description[]
From Eberron, Olarune appears pale orange in coloration. The edge of the moon resembles the rim of a shield.[1]
Culture[]
The second month of the year in the Galifar Calendar is named after Olarune.[3][4]
Rumors & Legends[]
Tradition links the moon of Olarune with the Mark of Sentinel.[1][3][4]
According to shifter legends, lycanthropes originated when the spirit of the moon Olarune sought to create guardians of nature from shifters. However, the dark spirit of the thirteenth moon corrupted Olarune's blessing, creating lycanthropes.[5]
