Mirasandra ir'Thavar, nicknamed Mira, is a member of the Thavar noble family, formerly of Cyre and now operating as a ranger and Cyran avenger.[1]
History[]
In Olarune of 994 YK, Cyre was negotiating a peace with the Valenar elves, with Mirasandra's father meeting with Shaeras Vadallia at Taer Valaestas. Mirasandra had come along with him. There, they soon received reports of the Day of Mourning that destroyed their kingdom and much of their noble family. While Mirasandra was told to stay in Taer Valaestas, her father and his entourage returned to Metrol to survey the immediate aftermath. They were never seen again.[1]
In the years after, Mirasandra dedicated herself to avenging her lost nation and getting justice for its suffering survivors.[1]
Relations[]
Mirasandra is the eldest daughter of a Cyran politician and nobleman. She is also the niece of Magdalora ir'Thavar, the only surviving member of her immediate family, though the two have grown apart.[1]
Personality[]
Mirasandra hungers for revenge against those who destroyed Cyre and her family—whoever they are. She thinks her aunt's idea that the Cyrans have no one to blame but themselves is ridiculous, when they are plenty of others still to blame instead. She desires to discover the truth of the Mourning.[1]
Activities[]
She has grown obsessed with goblin raiders from Darguun preying on Cyran refugees in Breland, and seeks nothing less than to kill every single goblinoid that dares cross the border. She even launches her own raids in Darguun itself, targeting caravans and scouting parties going through Marguul Pass and to and from Gorgonhorn and Skullreave in the north. A number of goblin war bands are on the hunt for her.[1]
Tactics[]
A highly skilled archer, Mirasandra favors attacking from range, under cover, and by surprise. She's a skilled hunter.[1]
Possessions[]
She is armed with a short sword and longbow with twenty arrows, and wears +2 leather armor and boots and cloak of elvenkind, and uses oil of magic weapon. She is well furnished with jewelry and coin.[1]
