Majera d'Valzey is a human noble from Eberron who somehow ended up in the Palace of Heart's Desire in the Feywild along with her magic quill—named Dictado—which automatically writes out anything Majera says aloud. She hopes to break the terms of an arranged marriage and so tried to meet with Zybilna, having petitioned a spellcaster to transport her to the palace.[1]

Behind the Scenes[]
Despite Majera's last name, the adventure doesn't mention her having a dragonmark. When asked about this, Keith Baker commented that the easiest solution to make sense of this in-universe was to rename the character as "Majera ir'Valzey" (as a member of nobility) or assume she belonged to an unknown branch of House Tharashk.[2]
