Magewrights are craftspeople who incorporate magic to help in plying their trade. There are a number of different kinds of magewrights, ranging from chefs who use magic to cook to mediums who can speak with the dead.[1][2] They are more frequent in towns and cities, and many magewrights are members of one of the guilds run by the dragonmarked houses.[1]
They are more limited in power than normal spellcasters, and can only cast cantrips as well as a limited number of higher-level spells[1][2] through rituals.[2]
