Lyrenton is a former city of the nation of Cyre. It was destroyed during the Last War, and still lies in ruins. It is within viewing distance of the mists on the border of the Mournland and still attracts monstrosities from there. The ruins are believed to be cursed and those who enter it seem to develop a wasting disease. There are reports of terrible screaming coming from the ruins; at night, their echoes carry over the plains for miles. It is a place best avoided.
