Kyuss was a mighty human wizard who bound himself to the Overlord Katashka the Gatekeeper and is now imprisoned after joining with his master.[1][2]
History[]
According to legend, Kyuss lived 3,000 years ago. His soul merged with Katashka, who had temporarily escaped his binding by the Silver Flame, and the combined entity briefly became something like a demigod. Before it could come into its full power, the new entity was imprisoned once more. Legends say that, if he is released again, he will bring forth the final age of the world, known as the Age of Worms.[1][2][3]
Although officially licensed, this information is not confirmed to be part of the greater Eberron canon.
The combined entity was called Kyuss-Katashka.[1][2][3]
