Karrnathi undead soldiers are elite undead in the service of Karrnath that first appeared during the Last War. They were created by Blood of Vol necromancers through a process known as the Odakyr Rites.[1] These rites were performed in a Mabaran manifest zone on elite soldiers who had died in battle.[1][2][3]

A Karrnathi zombie
There are two main types of Karrnathi undead, Karrnathi skeletons and Karrnathi zombies. Both resemble ordinary skeletons and zombies wearing armor. However, the Karrnathi undead are far more intelligent and have been alchemically treated to be more resilient.[3]
