Kalok Shash is a religion practiced by the Ghaash'kala orcs of the Demon Wastes.[1]
Orcish for "the binding flame", this faith worships a great flame made up of the spirits of fallen warriors. The faithful claim that this flame has tasked the Ghaash'kala clans with fighting back against the demons of the Demon Wastes. In actuality, the binding flame and the Silver Flame that binds Bel Shalor are the same entity. However, beyond worshiping the same force of good and combating the forces of evil, the Ghaash'kala worshipers have little in common with the armored knights of the Church of the Silver Flame.[1]
The Ghaash'kala practice ritual branding of warriors with the binding flame. Whether this means branding them with a symbol of the faith or with a brand heated by the fires of the flame is unclear. Either way, those branded manifest the holy powers of paladins, most notably divine sense, which they use to identify disguised demons as part of their holy conflict.[1]
