Hektula, called the Bloody Scribe and the Shadow Scribe, is a powerful rakshasa who sits on the Bleak Council of the Lords of Dust. She is the prakhutu (chosen speaker) for the Overlord known as the Keeper of Secrets.[1][2]
Description[]
Hektula is a tiger-headed fiend with backwards-facing hands, who is depicted with a face shadowed by a black, hooded robe.[1]
Activities[]
Hektula acts through alliances with other rakshasa members of the Bleak Council. She helps the other councilors achieve their goals through distributing knowledge of the Prophecy in their catalogue, which she oversees as the librarian of Ashtakala.[1]
Abilities[]
In addition to the innate abilities of the rakshasa, Hektula is an accomplished wizard, an unusual path relative to the many sorcerers of the Lords of Dust.[1] As prakhutu for the Keeper of Secrets, she may commune with her mistress once per day.[1]
Hektula learns new spells and secrets of the Prophecy through her bond with the Keeper of Secrets.[1]
