Green dragons are a subspecies of dragon that prefer to live in forests.[1]
History[]
Around 2600 years ago, several green dragons began working with the elf family of House Vol, who bore the Mark of Death, in a rare instance of dragon–elf cooperation. This cooperation produced a green half-dragon named Erandis Vol, who bore an extremely powerful dragonmark. When word of the results of this cooperation got out, the elves of Aerenal and the dragons of Argonnessen united to destroy Erandis and the line of Vol. Erandis's father, a green dragon known as the Emerald Claw, disappeared, and no member of the line of Vol remained among the living.[5][6][7][8]
Symbology[]
In the Sovereign Host pantheon, the god Balinor is sometimes depicted as a green dragon.[9]
