Behind the Scenes[]
In 3rd-edition D&D, the gnomes of Eberron spoke their own language, Gnome, as in core D&D. Strangely, this was missing from the table of languages on pages 46–47 of Eberron Campaign Setting, and was only specified in the errata. However, in 4th edition, gnomes were downplayed and removed from core D&D. Hence, on the language table on page 13 in the Eberron Campaign Guide, gnomes are not included and have no official language of their own. This seems typical of gnomes.
