The Gloaming is the darkest part of the Towering Wood in the Eldeen Reaches.[1]
It contains a manifest zone to Mabar; this means that negative energy permeates the whole area. Undead creatures and other twisted monsters prowl in the darkness of the dense vegetation waiting for the next lost traveler to stumble into their maws.[1]
