Glamerweave is a fabric with illusory magic woven into it that is used to make clothing. While worn, the illusions can produce a variety of different effects from subtle shifting colors or patterns to moving images.[2] More expensive forms of glamerweave can produce more elaborate effects, such as having the illusions project off the cloth and appear to surround the wearer.[3][1]
Glamerweave clothing is prized for its beauty and wearing it is a sign of wealth.[2][3] The clothing is particularly fashionable in Aundair and Sharn, and was fashionable in Cyre before the Day of Mourning.[4][5][6] The majority of glamerweave is produced in either Aundair or Zilargo, and designers from the two nations compete with each other to produce the best and most fashionable designs.[7]
