Gibbering mouthers are amorphous mounds of flesh, mouths, and eyes named after their incoherent gibbering.[1] They are associated with Daelkyr Cults of the Dragon Below, particularly Kyrzin.[4]
Abilities[]
Gibbering mouthers transform the ground around them as they move, making movement difficult for other creatures. The mouther's distinctive gibbering sound can be overwhelming to those who get too close to the creature. Often, these victims will subsequently be devoured and absorbed into the mouther to join the gibbering. The mouther can also spit chemicals that flash light on impact with a surface, blinding those around the impact point.[1]
Lands[]
While gibbering mouthers can be found across Eberron, they are particularly common in the swamps of the Shadow Marches in Khorvaire.[5]
