First Tower is a thorp in Breland, sitting adjacent to the metropolis of Sharn.[1]
The thorp is centered on one stone tower, about 30 feet high, that locals claim was the first tower built in the region that Sharn now occupies. Historians dispute the claim, citing the age of the human-constructed tower relative to the goblin ruins of ancient Sharn. However, the inhabitants of First Tower are not to be persuaded by know-it-all scholars from Morgrave University and remain steadfast in their beliefs.[1]
The site currently serves as the first stop for all traveling by land to the City of Towers. Lightning rail and caravans pass through the thorp.[1]
