The Fairhaven rail disaster occurred in 968 YK at the lightning rail station in Fairhaven, Aundair.[1]
In the early morning, a lightning rail coach derailed on the track and crashed into the station, killing 47 passengers and bystanders. The crash was caused by several thieves sabotaging the conductor line approaching the station. Blaming himself, the station master at the time, Ivor d'Throthenhome, has refused promotion since the disaster occurred.[1]
