In the first installment of the Thorn of Breland trilogy, The Queen of Stone. Drego works alongside Thorn in Droaam to prevent the catastrophic unleashing of a horde of lycanthropes however, he betrayed her and worked to allow this claiming that the threat would unite the five nations once again, albeit under the banner of the Silver Flame. Sheshka then turned him to stone.
