A command circlet is a warforged component that enables a warforged to communicate easily with others of its kind.[1][2]
Description[]
It is a gold band that fits over the head of a warforged and fuses to their brow. It weighs about 2 pounds (910 grams).[1]
Powers[]
Once attached, the circlet allows the wearer to mentally communicate with other warforged in line-of-sight up to 100 feet (30 meters) away through telepathy. The wearer can send one message to multiple individuals or unique messages to each individual. Though the wearer can send commands through the circlet, it does not allow them to hear mental responses.[1][2]
Moreover, the circlet allows the warforged to bolster themselves and their construct comrades within 30 feet (9.1 meters) away against fear, as with remove fear.[1][2] This can be done once a day and was limited to only ten warforged.[1]
Creation[]
Along with skill in crafting wondrous items, it requires the spells detect thoughts and remove fear.[1]
History[]
The command circlet was originally created by Breland, and was bestowed on those warforged commanders who displayed both incredible bravery and excellent tactical skill. It was usually awarded as a badge of honor alongside a promotion in rank.[1][2] Approximately two dozen such circlets were created during the Last War.[1]
However, since then, other command circlets have been created by rogue warforged in the Mournland.[1]
