Cloud giants are a race of giants that prefer to live at high altitudes.[1] Like other giants, they are natives of Xen'drik.[3]

Description[]

Cloud giants look like light-skinned, muscular humanoids, but are much larger in size, standing about 24 feet tall. Their hair is generally blue or silver.[1]

History[]

Most scholars agree that there was one race of giants during the Age of Giants, and that it was after the fall of the giants 40,000 years ago that they splintered into different kinds of giants, like cloud giants. However, a small faction of scholars disagree and hold the opinion that the different kinds of giants, like cloud giants, were present before the collapse.[4]

Modern cloud giants seem to be descendants of the Cul'sir Empire, the most powerful giant civilization in Xen'drik.[5] Other cloud giants are descended from the ancient giant city of Sirris Loft.[6]

Notable Cloud Giants[]

  • The Scriveners of the Sky, an alliance of cloud and storm giants who seek to uncover and preserve lost knowledge from the ancient giant empires.[7][8]
  • Skyfather, the patriarch of a family of cloud giants called the Ancient Ones in the ruins of Pra'xerik in Xen'drik.[9]
