A circlet of the third eye is a warforged component that grants a warforged, as the name says, a third eye.[1]
Description[]
It is a headband crafted from blue-white metal, which displays the icon of a single eye. It must be worn and attached to a warforged's forehead to function.[1]
Powers[]
When activated by the warforged with a command word, an actual eye sprouts from the icon, emerging at the end of a 6‑inch-long (15‑centimeter) eyestalk. It had a bright yellow glow, and can be seen even in the darkest of shadows, though this makes hiding difficult. The eyestalk is quite elastic and can extend up to 10 feet (3 meters).[1]
The circlet of the third eye grants the wearer both darkvision to a distance of 60 feet (18 meters) and the effects of a continuous see invisibility spell.[1]
The eye can be used for an hour a day in total. This duration does not need to be continuous, but activating the eye once cost ten minutes of this time.[1]
The eye and its stalk can be attacked and damaged. If the eyestalk is destroyed, it disappears immediately and cannot be summoned for another week.[1]
Creation[]
Along with the necessary skill in crafting magic items, one needed the spells alter self, darkvision, and see invisibility.[1]
