Chuuls are large amphibious crustaceans. They can be found in locations across Eberron, but are particularly numerous in the Shadow Marches.[3] Like other aberrations, they are believed to be spawn of the daelkyr.[5]
History[]
Several decades ago, the Gatekeeper Vashkal the Black defeated a group of chuuls near Silver Lake.[6]
Boroman ir'Dayne also encountered chuuls in the Shadow Marches during his adventuring days.[7]
Location[]
Chuuls have been seen in the following places in Eberron:
- The Shadow Marches.[3][8]
- The sewers and ruins below Sharn[9]
- The Red Ring and sewers in Stormreach.[10][11]
- Talon Beach in Argonnessen.[12]
Usage[]
Practitioners of arcane magic value chuul claws for use in crafting items related to transmutation.[13]
