Small size was defined differently in different editions of Dungeons & Dragons:
- 3rd/3.5 edition: Between 2 ft (0.61 m) and 4 ft (1.2 m).[1]
- 5th edition: Occupied an area of 5 ft (1.5 m) by 5 ft (1.5 m),[2] up to 5 ft (1.5 m) tall.[3]
