Buommans are a race of humanoids that inhabit the Astral Plane. They do not speak, but communicate through song, known as Buommi. Most boummans live their lives amongst Astral debris, within temples and shrines.[2][1]
History[]
No one is sure how the Buomman race came to live on the Astral Plane. Buommans have criss-crossed the Astral Plane, building shrines and temples amongst debris scattered across the astral sea. The buommans believe this debris to be the remnants of sleeping gods, and worship them accordingly.[2]
Description[]
Buommans resemble humans, with slightly distended faces and elongated hands and feet, especially in the extremities. Buommans are generally shorter and heavier than humans. Male buommans have long, bushy hair, while female buommans have no body hair at all.[2]
Personality[]
Buommans are quiet, solemn creatures, having taken a vow of silence from their childhood. They communicate with each other through a song they call the Buommi. Most buommans can understand Common. Buommans are quite friendly with outsiders, whether they are natives of the Astral Plane or not.[2]
Abilities[]
Buommans possess low-light vision. Though they live on the Astral Plane, they have no special abilities to traverse the plane or to travel back and forth between the Astral and the Material Planes.[2]
