Blue dragons are a subspecies of dragon named for their blue scales. They prefer to live in deserts.[1]
History[]
During the Age of Demons, it was a blue dragon, named Ourelonastrix, who discovered the Draconic Prophecy, and inspired the dragons to rise up against the Overlords.[5]
In the Sovereign Host pantheon, the god Aureon is sometimes depicted as a blue dragon.[6] The dragon religion of Thir believes Aueron to be the blue dragon Ourelonastrix ascended.[7]

- Shendroa, exiled to Xen'drik for stealing eggs.[9]
- The Storm Guardians, a clan of blue dragons assigned to watch over the mountain of Korrandar in Adar.[10][11]
- Tarmahkan, an elderly dragon in the Vast with designs on Q'barra.[12]
- Xarkon the Stormheart, a dragon in Xen'drik with a hatred of Stormreach.[13]
