Fighting in a reality storm
Reality storms, known as aukaraks in an ancient shifter dialect,[1] are powerful planar storms that affect the Tashana Tundra region of Sarlona. Their effects on the area are usually similar to that of a manifest zone, and depend on which one of Eberron's planes they are connected to, although some aukaraks have no obvious planar connection.[2]
Effects[]
An aukarak can usually be detected brewing a few minutes before it fully manifests itself in the skies, and usually lasts for several hours. They sometimes can summon denizens of a particular plane. When this happens, the planar residents return to their plane of origin when the storm dissipates.[2]
Rumors & Legends[]
It is rumored that the nomadic Icebinder half-giants control the aukaraks, or at least know when and where they will occur.[3]
